After more than 18 years in executive management of a worldwide manufacturing company Steve Doty
began a career in Real Estate in August of 2002. Steve’s roots were deeply entrenched in the Jonesboro
Real Estate market since childhood. His mother and father began doing business as Doty Real Estate
in 1967. Elmer and Mary John Doty were synonymous with Northeast Arkansas Real Estate and were
considered pioneers beginning a real estate business in the 1960’s that was at that time, made up
mainly of builders and developers.
The many years of the Doty family’s rich and successful history in the housing business inspired Steve
to carry the torch and begin his career in real estate. With the mentoring and guidance of his parents,
Steve built a team of hard-working agents, and has grown to be recognized as a true player in the
Northeast Arkansas market.
In February of 2005 Doty Real Estate aligned itself with the fastest growing franchise group in the US,
ERA Franchise Systems, LLC. The alignment with such a technologically strong, global organization was a
perfect fit. ERA Doty Real Estate immediately embraced the technology and put into practice, the tools
offered by ERA Franchise Systems, which resulted in doubling their gross sales in the first year with ERA.
